Hi back everyone from Turkey, istanbul where the continents meet;

I successfully installed the mpich2 on openSuSE 10.2 machines and
compiled example applications...

Now before diving into programming for Engineering applications, I
want to ask you which IDE's do you use, prefer to use ?

Is there a plug-in for eclipse to enable auto-completion for MPI
commands in c/c++?
Any tip for easining the programming effort is welcomed :)

I am getting of age! Is auto-completion helpful when you are starting to
learn MPI? Understanding the standard is the problem, restructuring your
code to make use of parallelism is the problem but not typing the calls.

I use emacs and bash for an IDE, infact UNIX is the IDE!

If I have to I will fall back to vi and csh.

Greetings from Cologne, just a continent away. ;-)
